'It's the future. But only slightly. There are blackouts. No one knows what's causing them, but that doesn't stop people going missing in them. Now Steph and Bell, a schoolgirl and barmaid, have to search for their missing friend, until the outside world starts infecting the theatre that stands around them.'

 

Matthew Williams' staging of the Lulu Raczka play incorporates live camera in this ensemble piece with 6 performers sharing the role of Steph between them. He wanted, "to show the enormity of this current and relevant issue, to try and highlight that dystopia isn't as far away as we think."

The show premiered in the Showroom Chichester on January 20th 2026 with the following cast:
